An online presentation titled “Some Examples of Kilims from Anatolia” was held in our department as part of the “Career: Designing the Future” series. Delivered by Assoc. Prof. Gonca Karavar from the Traditional Turkish Arts Department at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts, the presentation covered the weaving techniques, motifs, and compositional features of kilims. Additionally, examples of kilims from various regions of Anatolia were showcased. The presentation was attended by both students and faculty members from the Traditional Turkish Arts Department.
