As part of the "Career: Designing the Future" presentations, Associate Professor Esra Kavcı delivered a talk titled "Fabric Weaving Centres in the Aegean Region and Examples of Woven Fabrics."
Associate Professor Esra Kavcı, a faculty member of the Traditional Turkish Arts Department, Carpet, Rug, and Traditional Fabric Patterns Programme at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts, provided insights into the fabric weaving traditions of İzmir (Ödemiş, Tire, Beledi), Manisa Bezi, Denizli, and Muğla regions.
