As part of the "Career: Designing the Future" presentations, a lecture titled "Ottoman Palace Carpets" was delivered in our department. The online presentation, given by Associate Professor Bahadır ÖZTÜRK from the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts at Dokuz Eylül University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, explored Turkish carpet art, the development of carpet art throughout Ottoman history, and the Ottoman Palace carpets. Examples of carpets created for Dolmabahçe Palace and Yıldız Chalet Pavilion were also presented. The lecture was attended by our department's students, as well as students and faculty members from the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts at DEÜ GSF.
