Under the coordination of the Community Policing Branch of the Çanakkale Provincial Police Department, the aim is to strengthen cooperation with the community through art and enhance social cohesion by bringing together individuals from different social groups. As part of this initiative, individuals with special needs, under the guidance of Associate Professor İrem Pala from the Traditional Turkish Arts Department and Lecturer Nilay Karaman from Yenice Vocational School of Higher Education, began production in the Traditional Turkish Arts Department workshops on October 25, 2024, with a session held once a week.

The "Art Together" project aims to help individuals with special needs develop their artistic talents, create stronger bonds with each other, and foster social solidarity and mutual understanding through the unifying power of art. The works produced over a six-week period will be exhibited in Çanakkale on December 3rd, World Disability Day.
